I now have proof that I AM AT THE OLYMPICS

For all of you who weren't sure that I really was going to the Olympics, I now have incontrovertible evidence.  You know that bank of cameras set up at the start, well they captured this photo.

That is definitely my left arm in this picture of Austria's Marcel Hirscher - yup, definitely.

Here is a better one. I look like I have my finger in my ear - which is actually true. My radio earphone kept falling out.

Thanks to boys at Getty Images for posting a picture of me - with my finger in my ear.
Very Olympic. Very Olympic indeed.

  1. Hey Brian. Man you are in the heart of the action in that Start area. Good on ya. Cool to hear you have a ticket for opening ceremonies. We will be watching for you (or your arm or a guy with finger in ear). Keep the blog going as many of us are "tuned in". Snow here and -4. Flames playing NJ and no score mid first period. How's the food and accommodation? Cheers Brian 5:30PM here

  5. Wow, front row seat there B. Heard the Downhill and Super G will be postponed due to wind until Monday? Looks cold on TV for the snowboarding.
