IF Lounge

We have excellent facilities and POCOG support staff at our disposal. We have our IF - International Federation Lounge (in our case, FIS).  It is located, in what would be described as the daylodge, 50 m from the gondola base and 100 m from our hotel.

It is where we start and end our day - store our gear, boot up, get our radios, eat lunch (but only after the on snow day is over).

There is a team of three that manage the room for us.

 

They are very appreciative of being appreciated and they sense when you need something and pretty much address any issue of ours within their Olympic world.

 

We also have a Jury Room at our disposal. It is located beside the Finish Area.

 

 

It is where we convene to debrief on the day's activities and set the schedule for the next day. It is also where we meet in the event that the day's schedule needs to be reviewed due to weather or other concerns. 

You will notice the Maple Leaf on the table. That would be my backpack. It will be left conspicuously in the start tent. Keep an eye out for it at race time.  : )
